Introduction

I have been a personal trainer and fitness coach since 2007 and have developed my own fitness and conditioning from the ground up. I have undertaken an array of challenges and sporting journeys through this process that I would never have done without the fitness industry inspiring me.

I set up my fitness coaching business in 2014 alongside my outdoor group fitness business which I started working for in 2010, to then go and set up as their first franchise business in 2016. The two have been such an immense passion of mine to this very day and I owe so much to everyone involved.

My hobbies include, cycling (road and MTB), playing cricket, socially golfing, skiing, running, obstacle racing and fitness racing. Basically I will try anything.

My training has been influenced by so many sports, fitness styles and trends over the years and this has shaped how I am as a coach. As I have matured, like a fine cheese, I know that in real life, being a jack of all trades is more valuable than being a master of one. Especially when it comes to fitness. For example the big unit in the gym can lift 500kg on leg press but can they run 1 mile under 10 minutes? It would be great to be able to do both right?  

As a father of two wonderful girls and husband to a legend of a woman, I value being strong, fast, powerful and able to run/cycle/row for miles because it gives me longevity! I’d kick the backside of the 21 year old me in every aspect apart from boozing and sleeping. I now know that free time is absolutely golden, so I will always take care to maximise yours whether you are training with me in person or getting a 20 minute run in while you wait for the next meeting.

Thanks to my years of service in the industry I have had the privilege of working with so many wonderful people and thus, I can confidently say that all abilities, shapes and sizes are welcome.

My coaching set up is flexible so I can come to you, online via zoom, or in a local gym/studio/park depending on permissions.
